Ouf !!

I've just finished my big project at Uni...It was a dissertation about surface growth simulation. very useful for me because I used LabView for the first time. Actually, it's a very useful software.

Basically, surface growth is a quite common phenomenon observed in many cases in nature (capilarity, deposition of "big" particle -> snow deposition onto the front of your car, in winter). The study of that phenomenon is very important in order to determine and validate some models. These models allow MBE (molecular beam epitaxy) or crystalline growth be to understanded for example...

So, that project was an introduction to several basic deposition models. The aim was to simulate deposition and also to dislplay results. Here is a picture of one of "my" result ...The main observation : the difference of roughness depends of the model used...It's elementary, my Dear Watson!
