Pan's Labyrinth

I saw the Pan's Labyrinth, a Guillermo del Toro's movie. Basically, it is about a little girl, Ofelia, who is able to see another kingdom : the underground kingdom. She must do three tasks to reintroduce that kingdom and to become its princess. This is the fairy part of the movie. In the other hand, the action takes place in Spain, in 1949, under the fascist regime of Franco. Ofelia and her mother are with the wonderful Sergi Lopez (Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien), the madly strict and bloody captain Vidal. Vidal is after rebels hidden in ancestral and misterious woods.

During the film, the parallelism between the reality of Ofelia and the reality of Vidal and her mother (Adults) is constant. Sometimes, it is very difficult to make a difference between these two realities. That is really impressionant !
The other thing I loved was the decor, the atmophere...Sometimes, that looks like a Tim Burton atmosphere : tortuous trees, bloody&clean places, androgynous creatures...

I think that's a good film...Must be seen for the oger !! So blinding, isn't it ?
